Terms of Service

1. Intellectual Property & Artwork Rights

  • Jules Topaz retains all intellectual property rights to the artwork.

  • Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

  • You may not replicate, print, or commercially exploit the artwork without express written permission.

  • You are welcome and encouraged to share photos of your purchased art on social media.

2. Sales, Refunds & Care

  • All purchases, including custom commissions, are final.

  • As a premium boutique gallery, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

  • High-value original artwork cannot be treated as a temporary or trial item.

  • To maintain the pristine condition of our art, we cannot accept returns on pieces that have been handled, unboxed, or hung on external walls.

  • Cocoast Art Gallery is not liable for damage once you take possession.

  • We do not compensate for transit scratches, canvas dents, or dirty handling marks caused by the customer.

  • All artwork collected in person is securely packed by the gallery to prevent damage.

3. Shipping & Transit Damage

  • Please allow up to 5 business days for us to securely pack and dispatch your order.

  • You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We are not responsible for lost items due to incorrect addresses.

  • Every shipment is fully insured by Cocoast Art Gallery during transit.

  • If your artwork arrives damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • You must provide clear photographic proof of the damaged packaging and the artwork to support our insurance claim.

  • Once the insurance claim is verified, we will arrange a secure return and issue a replacement, repair, or full refund.

4. International Duties & Taxes

  • International buyers are solely responsible for local customs duties, VAT, or import taxes.

  • These extra charges are determined by your country and are not included in the website checkout total.

  • If you refuse to pay customs fees, the artwork will be returned to the gallery.

  • We will only issue a refund for refused deliveries if the artwork arrives back to us in its original, undamaged condition.
